Happy Turkey Day

We had a great visit with Steph and Jarrett and I belive G-man likes his Auntie&Uncle. We turkey dinner at our house and everything was yummy with uncle Chris and Aunte Ina. Crazy auntie Steph and Mary went shopping on black Friday. Left the house at 4AMish...no thanks but they did get some good deals. love from NC

Leaves, Leaves and more Leaves

Lil' man loved playing in the pile of leaves Sunday!! He also wanted to climb up the ladder as dad was putting up the x-mas lights/decorations. And to answers every one's questions forth coming, we are NOT lighting the x-mas lights until after turkey day but needed to take advantage of a long nap by Gavin and get up as much as possible. Never enough hours in the day!

18 Months Old Today!!!

Do you believe lil' man is already 18 M/O today! We went to the docs yesterday for his check-up and he weighed in at a whopping 28 lbs and 34" tall! He's in the 75% tile for his weight and 95% tile for his height! Oh yeah..he also has a melon on his shoulders being in the 90th% tile!! Hopefully it's full of knowledge. We had a beautiful day today in the low 70's. We did a little x-mas shopping for Gav today and gave him and early present. Here are a few pix. Love from NC

WTF

So get this...We put Gav to bed early as he is fighting a cold..I was getting in the shower as Mary went downstairs to watch her 70 hours of recorded soap operas! All of a sudden she comes running upstairs in a frenzy...I thought something serious happened and she tells me she has a "tarantula" trapped in the garage under a glass cup from the kitchen. She didn't know what to do so she put a glass cup over him and I came to the rescue. He waz a feisty lil' thing. We looked him up online and think he is a wolf spider and I mentioned while we were playing with him thinking he wasn't poisonous but low and behold he was...ooopppsss Check him out! We measured the bottom of the cup which his legs spread well beyond that @ 2-1/2 inches..he's a bigen'

Happy Halloween

Gav had a good time with trick-or-treatin' Friday evening. He also had dress up day at school on Friday. Mom and Dad went out Friday night after lil' man when to bed as Aunt Ina and her friend stayed at the house "baby sitting". We didn't get home till 2AM and payed for it all day Saturday! Dad and Gavin working in the yard all day Sunday. We had a unseasonablly warm weekend. It was in the low 70's all weekend. Here are a few pix! Love from NC.

Fun Day At School

Gavin had hay ride day at school on Monday. He loves tractors! Then the kids got to pick pumpkins. Here are a few pix. Other than that, Not too much new. The weather has definitely changed to fall. Been getting some frost in the low lying areas in the AM. Dad is planning on doing a little hunting this coming weekend!!! Mom is still humping along with school and is in Medical Surgery the second 8 weeks of this semester. She is on the cardiac surgery floor and expects to see a heart surgery or two. She's excited, I wouldn't be!

Almost Halloween

We had a very un-eventful weekend. We went to the local farmers market. It's an open air produce/crafts market down the road from us. Excellent deals and fresh produce. Gav had fun running around and we picked up pumpkins from there. Then we made smores on the patio with from the outdoor fire place. yummmy! Gav didn't know what to do with marshmellows as it was his first time tasting them...as you can see..love from NC

LMS Race

Mary had a great time at her first Nascar race. She could believe you could walk in with coolers full of beer!!! Our mullet count stopped at ONE fitty....

Thanks for the gifts

I had a good B-Day. Didn't do much besided take the day off of work and cleaned the gutters and garage! A project that took longer(all day) than I expected! The weather is crazy warm here in NC this week. In the high 80's. Not the weather we want this time of year. Not too much new. The family is doing well! Love from NC
